Adventure is waiting.
The daily program at Birch Point Camp is age-appropriate and designed for fun. Activities vary day-by-day and week-to-week. Each week will feature a different theme that will be announced on the website prior to camp. Examples of some of the many activities that will be available over the summer are listed below.
Our beautiful 86-acre lake provides plenty of opportunity for water-based activities. Skilled swimmers will have ample time to swim, play on our water trampoline or enjoy boating in canoes, kayaks, rowboats and paddle boats. Beginners will be provided swim instruction to gain skills and confidence.
Birch Point Camp is part of a 1,300-acre reservation waiting to be explored. Each week, there will be opportunities to hike to different parts of the camp, learn about nature and develop campcraft skills. All of these activities will help campers become comfortable living in this great out-of-doors that surrounds us.
Is your camper more of the quiet type? Crafting is a wonderful way for children to express their creativity, and at Birch Point Camp, there are no shortages of opportunities to do just that. Best of all, campers will be able to make-and take home-lasting memories of their time at camp.
There will be ample time for all types of sporting and athletic activities available at Birch Point Camp. Climbing towers, human foosball and GaGa Ball pit games are just some of the organized activities campers can participate in.
Archery and BBs
Both archery and BBs are challenging activities that require patience and practice. Campers will have an opportunity to try out these skills with the help of our certified instructors who emphasize the importance of safety as well as accomplishment.
Many might think that STEM programs only deal with computers and robotics. In reality, whether you are learning about poisonous plants (Science), learning to navigate with a map and compass (Technology), building a rope bridge (Engineering) or firing a bow and arrow (Mathematics), STEM is everywhere! Campers will see how it plays a role everyday while having fun.
All campers will have a fun, fulfilling adventure with us each week, and those who stay for the whole summer will build more and more self-confidence, interpersonal skills, and a love and respect for the outdoors. All activities are age-appropriate and supervised by trained members of our staff. Our older campers will be exposed to additional challenges including our 68’ tower and learning how to safely ride an ATV (14 years and up). We are very fortunate to have an unspoiled plethora of outdoor opportunities for these young people and limitless opportunities to have fun and make lasting friendships and memories!
