2018 Birch Point Camp registration is closed. Please check back for 2019 registration this winter.

About

Birch Point Camp is a summer day camp that welcomes children 6 to 15 from throughout western Massachusetts.

Campers learn and grow intellectually, socially and physically thanks to cooperative activities, organized play and athletics integrating traditional and STEM outdoor programs. The experienced faculty is personally committed to providing meaningful learning experiences and individual attention in a safe and fun environment taking advantage of a 1,300-acre private outdoor paradise.

Mission

To provide inspiration and answer the curiosities of children about the outdoors, socializing with others, and to provide the foundations of a ‘moral compass’ to help them make ethical choices in their lives.

Vision

We provide a daily program that is FUN, while helping young people safely explore the outdoors, and learn about themselves. By engaging in small groups, having ‘adventures’ and ‘challenges’ (both individually and as part of a team), each camper learns about themselves and how they relate to others.

We build an understanding of nature around us, which transitions into a love of the outdoors. We build an understanding of people around us, which transforms into a love of others. We build an understanding of ourselves, which transforms into self-confidence and self-reliance. Embracing the values of conservation and respect for the outdoors builds campers’ respect of the natural world around them.
